Product Description
Tamarind Paste is usually used as in input in the manufacturing of Sauces and Ketchups. The manufacturing process of Tamarind Paste does not involve any evaporation process. It is manufactured with pure Tamarind Fruit Pulp without Seed, Fiber and Cuticles. The Tamarind Pulp of 30 – 35 degree brix is diluted with drinkable water to the extent of 42-45 degree brix.
Since Pectin content in Tamarind Pulp is only 2-4%, there is a need for adding Preservatives to increase the shelf life of Tamarind Paste to 9-12 months. The preservatives used in Tamarind Paste are Salt 9 – 10% and Sodium Benzoate 0.05%.
