Park Avenue Apartment Interior Design
In a small Mumbai apartment a minimalist language has been adopted that runs though the apartment and gives it a sense of bright roominess. White walls and a grey floor create a neutral backdrop which is quietly offset by warm teak wood furniture. Cabinets and storages are integrated into the walls and furniture to clear the space.
The living room for example is lined with a low height storage unit along its length which doubles up as in-built seating to be used to maybe just relax and read a book. Little alcoves of light are formed where the original balconies were located in the house. The kitchen enjoys the flexibility of being open to the living-dining space and when closed looks integrated with the storage unit.
