PILES
Piles or is a cumbersome disease affecting both men and women equally. It can be classified as external, internal or bleeding and non-bleeding depending upon position and tendency to bleed. Piles are basically a group of tortuous veins which recoil on themselves around the anal canal and sometimes bleed due to pressure on these veins.
CAUSES OF PILES
Constipation, Irregular eating habits, continuous sitting posture, consumption of fast food, frozen food and low fiber diet are the reasons for hemorrhoids.
So to care the piles it is very important to follow regular eating pattern, consuming fiber rich diet, natural food and maintain healthy life style. Low consumption of water is also one of the reasons for constipation. Constipation leads to straining and straining leads to bleeding in the tortuous veins around the anal canal.
GRADES OF PILES – Depending on Severity of Piles
3 grades:-
In 1st grade piles, the pile mass (tortuous veins) are swollen but they remain inside the anal canal. This causes itching, pain, occasional bleeding while defecation and discomfort.
In 2nd grade Piles, the pile mass comes out while straining or passing the stool. It goes back on its own without the help of finger. This is called 2nd grade piles. This is the next stage of piles.
3rd Grade piles – In this stage, the pile mass remains out of the anal canal and does not go back inside even after pushing it with the fingers.
