Polyalkylimide

These semi-permanent dermal filler is often used for treating depressed scars and nasolabial folds. It's also used to replace the volume of face lost due to aging. It is not suitable to eliminate fine wrinkles on the face. It widely enhances the jaw lines and cheekbones. It is only administered after a local anesthesia. After the injection, there is a slow formation of collagen in and around the treated areas within a span of one month's time. Large amount of fillers could also be injected. They can also be removed later on. HIV affected patients who suffer from facial lip atrophy or facial wasting are the ones who are treated using this mode. Polyalkylimide is biocompatible, requires no need of allergy tests before treatment and is radio transparent. These can be clubbed with the use of  acid for removal of the finer wrinkles and lines.
