All Purpose Potting Mix are nothing but a medium, readily available for growing vegetables, flowers, etc in containers. Basically, it helps the seeds to germinate or seedlings to grow well. It is light weighted compared to soil. Harvesto potting mix contains less in nutrients, which could not harm delicate seedlings. The mix also hold onto moisture without becoming soggy. Harvesto potting mix is added with perlite to increase in the aeration levels for faster root development
Uses:
- The garden kart potting mix are having air-filled porosity of at least 15%
- Re-wets easily
* Does not shrink away from the side of the pot as it dries
* Optimum weight - not too heavy to lift, not so light as to blow over in easily
* Suitable pH, between 5.0 and 6.5 is satisfactory for most plants
