DPC aims to provide variety of Consultancy Services, duly customized for each requirement in the field of Power sector with the vast experience base it has.
- Consultancy services for advising / guiding all areas of Power Transmission, Receiving Stations & System Operations.
- Conceiving, Planning & Development of Open Access Schemes in a cost effective manner and timely execution thereof representing / responding on behalf of Industry in case of specific & general issues before SERC / CERC (State / Central Electricity Regulatory Commissions) for necessary clearances / approvals etc as may be required for Power Transmission, Distribution as well as Generation matters.
- Owners advisors for Interaction with Consultants and Vetting of Consultants reports for suggesting further improvements and economy measures
- Site specific pre-feasibility/feasibility report for locating of a power project/CPP, selection of Site, fuel and plant/equipment.
- Technical & Financial scrutiny / vetting/due diligence of Detailed Project Reports prepared by recognized Agency/Consultant and advising Owner for further improvement and cost reduction.
- Associating with Company's Financial Consultants in Discussing/pursuing power projects with Financiers for arranging finance complying their technical queries/ requirements.
- Quality control, pre-dispatch inspection/ testing at Manufacturers works, Expediting / Monitoring of project plant/equipment.
- Computation of end cost of power generation for specific Site/Fuel/ Plant with various variable factors and with first year as well as levellized tariff, comparison thereof with other alternative sources of power.
- Developing and/or scrutiny/due diligence of Power Purchase Agreements (PPA), Gas Supply/Transportation Agreement (GSA/GTA), Power Transmission Agreements.
- Advising/Guiding Owner's Advocates on issues related to Regulatory matters while filing or responding to petitions before Regulatory Commissions.
Operation & Maintenance of 220 KV, 132 KV and 66 KV sub-stations and Transmission Networks.

About the Company
The Drashti Power Consultants is a Partnership Firm (Under formation of Private Limited Company soon) of Mr. K K Bhatia and Mr. P R Mehta, who have worked for more than 35 years in different areas in Power sector in different capacities and recently retired as Chief Engineers.
Mr. KK Bhatia graduated in Electrical Engineering from LD College of Engineering; Gujarat University; Ahmedabad in 1970 and since then worked in erstwhile Gujarat State Electricity Board in Transmission Dept. in various Capacities including as Chief Engineer (Transmission) till he retired in Feb 06.
He carries with him a rich experience of all aspects of Power Transmission & Operations, through his 36 years of association with M/s GEB/GETCO (Erstwhile M/s Gujarat Electricity Board) and contributed to E.H.V. Sub-stations maintenance and Line maintenance of major 220 KV System. Monitoring of various activities for maintenance of Sub-stations & Lines of entire GEB up to 400 KV, steering ongoing reform activities, managing State Load Dispatch Centre etc.
