- Precision offer a complete range of standard & custom made light weight, Medium & heavy duty Pneumatic mast systems for hoisting single or multiple Antennae. These are light weight tactical masts capable of supporting single light weight antenna such as Yagi as TMalso solid dish parabolic antenna & multiple antennae. The precision machined locking collarsensure that the masts stay in erected condition without any air pressure for long periods.
- The standard mast can support Max 50 kg head load & 24 meter height while custom made heavy duty masts can support head loads to a limit of 150 kg. The standard masts are light & medium duty which are both vehicle & ground mounted, the heavy duty masts are vehicle ounted.The mast can be deployed on uneven terrains as the body guy ropes are field adjustable foruneven & mountainous terrain.
* PEL has developed a guy winch assembly which helps erect light weight masts to a height of 24 meters, the winch arrests the sway of the mast while the mast is erected or etracted by holding the pinnacle of the mast from a single point via three guy ropes while the mast is being deployed. The mast is most vulnerable to sway & failure due the bending during erection & etraction
* A light weight mast can be deployed by one man. The medium duty 18M / 30 kg head load mast along with tactical accessories can be deployed by two men in 20 minutes demonstrating the true tactical capability of Precision tactical mast. The philosophy at precision is to think from the customer’s perspective – we offer the customer a complete solution to hoist an Antenna to the desired height to cater to the need for P2P or P2MP links.
* Precision masts have been designed using practical field experience gathered over the last 10 years along with simulation techniques using the latest FEA software on Solid WorksTM for structural analysis and rigorous field testing. PEL has its in-housetest facility to simulate the actual field conditions for endurance testing. The high wind conditions are simulated realistically to ensure that the design meets the field requirements and does not fail at the point of decision
* The aluminum tubes are hard anodized while the mild steel parts are hot dip galvanized to protect against rust & corrosion. The masts along with accessories under go complete environmental test as per MIL STD 810F to withstand the rigors of harsh environment.
* The mast are made of high strength aluminum alloy 6063 T6 & 6351 T6 tubes, along with precision machined locking & guide collars. To ensure anti-rotation there is precision machined guide way. Each tube moves on Teflon bearing and has high quality air seals. The body along with locking & guide collars is OG painted to provide effective camouflage and concealment during tactical deployment.Light & medium duty masts are erected using a foot pump while as a light electrical compressor is used to erect heavier head loads. Thestandard light duty mast system comes along with a base plate, a foot pump, pegs, hammer & nylon woven non stretch Kevlar guy ropes & guy tensioner.
