Mechanism of Action:
Rabeprazole: Irreversibly blocks the gastric proton pump (H+/K+-ATPase) in the stomach lining. Indicated For:
Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), including symptoms like heartburn, stomach pain, irritation, and acid regurgitation, especially when GERD does not respond to a PPI alone.
Peptic Ulcer Disease.
Non-ulcer dyspepsia (indigestion) with symptoms of acid reflux, nausea, bloating, and early satiety.
Management of nausea and vomiting associated with delayed gastric emptying or acid reflux.
