Rotary dryer is character with low cost maintenance, low power consumption, high capacity, easy to operate and easy to maintain. This rotary dryer consist primarily of a hot air generator, a rotary shell with driving mechanism, cyclone separator, exhaust fan with motor and inter connection ductwork and instrument.

Any type of agriculture waste or forestry waste can be briquetted individually or in combination without using any binder. Briquetting plants set so far in India are using Saw Dust, Bamboo Dust, Bagasse, Cotton Stalk, Coffee Husk, Groundnut Shell, Mustard Husk/Stalk, Pine Needles, Rice Husk, Sugar Mill Waste, Jute Waste, Coir Pith and other wastes & residues like Castor Shell,Stem, Tea Waste, Tree Bark, Wild Grasses & Shrubs etc.

· If Raw material size is bigger than 25 mm, it should be chopped by Biomass chipper cum Crusher as Briquetting machine can accept size up to 25 mm.

· For using two or more types of materials, it should be mixed in suitable form.

· If raw material has high moisture then 12% it should be reduced by sun drying or by using Biomass Dryer.

· Screw conveyor in machine moves material from bin to the press.

· Then Material is being compressed by ram through tapper bored die. During compression temperature raises and produces lignin in the surface and binds the material by its natural binder.

· Briquettes are formed in shape of log and it is automatically pushed through cooling line to the storage point.
