Verticals are upright tubes that transfer the load from the scaffold structure down to the ground. They are the backbone of the entire scaffold.

• Carry the entire load of the scaffold (workers, materials, platforms).

• Provide vertical support to ledgers, transoms, and braces.

• Maintain the height and frame structure of the scaffolding.

• Allow mounting points for ledgers, braces, and board brackets.

They run from the ground level to the top of the scaffold, connected in stages using:

• Jointers

• Spigots

• Cups (Cuplock)

• Rosettes (Ringlock)

• Have top and bottom cups welded.

• Allow quick locking of ledgers.
