Silpika -The Artisans Galleria, having more than 50 years' experience in Wood Craft manufacturing is opening a world-class Arts and Crafts emporium with the intention to promote the artistry talents of the artisans from different areas of the Country.
Silpika is located at Chevoor in Thrissur- Irinjalakuda Highway, which is approximate 8 kilometres away from Thrissur Town. Chevoor is well renowned for Wooden based Furniture and is known as the “FURNITURE HUB OF KERALA”. Being the Cultural Capital of Kerala, Thrissur has a very rich cultural heritage. The famous Guruvayoor Temple, Vadkkumnathan Temple, Peruvanam Temple, etc are located in Thrissur. These temples are famous because of its antiquity. Thrissur is also renowned for its rich tradition in handicrafts which is part of its cultural legacy. Its unique Arts and Crafts are irresistible for any shopaholic. These crafts reflect the extraordinary skills of its master. The Craft includes the Wooden Crafts, Bell Metal, Pooram Craft, etc.
Govt. of Kerala had selected 20 villages in Kerala as heritage craft villages and out of these 3 villages (Cherpu, Guruvayoor and Kuthampully) are from Thrissur. The wooden elephant sculptures carved by the artisans which have four centuries of legacy, is renowned for its own uniqueness and artistry extravagance. Silpika is a venture started by the artisans of Cherpu to exhibit their products to the public.

Rather an avenue to showcase our glorious cultural offerings and a perfect venue to propagate our ethnic crafts & artworks directly from artisans to end users. We intend to create a platform which offers both curated heritage and priceless collections of artisans of various states as well as customized product ranges designed specific to one’s requirement. Silpika offers a wide range of handcrafted decors and materials that enhance one’s homes, office spaces or commercial spaces, which can be designed to one’s requirements and tastes, in both traditional fashion as well as fusion contemporary styles.

We are in business of the welfare of craftsmen and artisans by directly engaging with them and providing a platform to showcase their products to connect directly with the customers. We act as a connectors and assist for their welfare and growth which includes helping them to understand the ever changing customer preferences, tastes, fashion etc. and thereby design products as required by the market.
