The stator winding temperature detector (RTD) are used to measure winding temperature of large motors , generators etc. These sensors are sandwiched between the winding of motors/generators. Unlike ON / OFF device. They continuous measurement of winding temperature . The NEMA recognizes this kind of sensors as a standard protection for motor and generator insulation. Normally , these RTDs are wire wound and sending element extends through out the length of the detector. These features will provide average temperature reading. Normally six sensors are recommended for each motor, Two per phase.

• Element : Singal or Dual
• Body material. : Fibre Glass Epoxy Temp. Class. : Class F ( Temp. Limit 155' c)or Class H ( Temp. Limit 180'c)
• Accuracy. : Class A/B/2B

• Number of wires : 2 or 3 or 4
•Lead wire. : single or multiple standard with Tin/Silver/Nickel plated copper wire with Teflon or polymide insulation. Note : Individual customer requirements of sensors are also available upon request.
