As part of the chemistry, any rebar necessarily contains two harmful impurities, Sulphur (S) and Phosphorus (P) in varying levels, which reduce the strength of steel in extreme hot and cold conditions. Therefore lower these values the better. TATA TISCON 500D has less of these harmful impurities. The combined level of Sulphur and Phosphorus is restricted to a maximum of 0.075% in TATA TISCON Fe500D.
