Tazact 1.125g Injection Vial

TAZACT 1.125 gm Injection is a broad-spectrum antibiotic combination containing Piperacillin (1 gm) and Tazobactam (125 mg). It belongs to the penicillin class of antibiotics and is used to treat moderate to severe bacterial infections in various parts of the body such as the lungs, urinary tract, skin, bones, joints, and abdomen.

Piperacillin works by killing bacteria and inhibiting their growth, while Tazobactam is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that prevents bacteria from developing resistance to Piperacillin. Together, they make the drug effective against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, including resistant strains.
