11:15 –13:15 The impact of silos A simulation game is conducted. Post game debrief demonstrates how lack of effective communication and smooth information exchange impacts efficiency and effectiveness of work. The larger context of value added contribution of the function as a whole is compromised. Use of capabilities becomes suboptimal.
13:15 –14:00 Lunch

13:15 –14:00 Lunch
14:00 –20:00 Teaming to Win Participants work in small cross-functional groups. A complex, ambiguous and challenging task is given to them that involves traveling to various locations. Teams operate on a shoe-string budget requiring use of public transport, and decoding “cryptic clues”. Teams win points by reaching correct destinations in shortest time, and finding hidden information through effective group problem solving & decision-making.
Day2
09:00–10:30 Debrief–“Teaming toWin” Debrief demonstrates that the teams that do well are the ones in which members value each other’s ideas, views and suggestions. High quality solutions occur through understanding each other better and evolving a consensus. Creates a strong sense of bonding amongst team members.
