Tenvir-EM 300 mg tablet is a combination antiretroviral medicine used for the treatment of HIV infection. It contains Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate and Emtricitabine, which work together as nucleoside/nucleotide reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTIs) to block the HIV reverse transcriptase enzyme. This action prevents the virus from multiplying, reduces the viral load in the blood, and helps strengthen the immune system.Tenvir-EM is usually taken once daily, with or without food, as prescribed by a doctor.
