Established in the year 1960, Rao Hospital was commissioned by major Dr Rao who was a doyen among surgeons.. Three Decades ago the Hospital inclined towards offering specialized treatment for infertility, assisted reproductive technology and gynecological endoscopy to the patients, and thus was born the Centre for Assisted Reproduction and Endoscopy (C.A.R.E).We also have an efficient pediatric unit and a neonatal ICU which ensures that the mothers take home healthy babies. Additionally, it is a Govt, recognized centre for family planning, Gynec Endoscopy training centre for Doctors and Basic & advanced infertility training centre, which has received recognition from FOGSI (Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India)and Dr.MGR University,Tamilnadu, India.
