Day 01: Arrive DelhiArrive Delhi – The capital city of India is a sprawling modern metropolis with a stunning backdrop of ancient architecture. Check in to your designated Hotel. Day is free to relax after a long flight. Overnight stay at Delhi. Day 02: Sightseeing of Old & New Delhi
Enjoy sightseeing tour of Delhi, start the day with an orientation tour of Old Delhi, enjoy a drive pass through the magnificent Red Fort constructed by the Great Mughal emperor Shahjahan in1638-48 AD, Jama Masjid Mosque- the largest mosque in India constructed by Emperor Shah Jahan between 1644- 56 AD. After old Delhi sightseeing head to New Delhi and visit Rajghat- memory place of Mahatma Gandhi, India Gate – The memorial was built to commemorate the Indian and British soldiers who died in World War I and the Afghan wars. The names of Martyrs are inscribed on the walls of the memorial, Rashtrapati Bhawan – the official residence of the President of India with 340 rooms, it is the largest residence of any Head of the state of the world. In the afternoon visit the Qutub Minaret built in 1193 AD it is the highest stone tower in India. Delhi sightseeing tour ends with a visit to the Lotus Temple – an architectural marvel of the Bahai faith. Day 03: Transfer to Rishikesh Morning board the Superfast Shatabdi train to Haridwar. Today enjoy sightseeing of Rishikesh visiting Parmarth Ashram one of the most renowned Ashram in Rishikesh with its large courtyard crammed with brightly clad Gods and Goddess, Lakshman Jhula and Ram Jhula the suspension bridges on Ganges, Muni Ki Reti chief bathing Ghat on Ganges, and Bharat Mandir. Afternoon head to Haridwar one of the four sacred town in Hinduism enjoy sightseeing tour of Haridwar visiting Bharat Mata Temple, Mansa Devi Temple, Chandi Devi Temple. Evening witness the Grand Ganga Aarti ceremony at Har- Ki – Pauri most sacred ghat on Ganges at Haridwar. Evening drive back to Rishikesh for Overnight stay.
Day 05: Excursion to Vasisth Gupha & White water rafting on GangesMorning drive along Ganges 20 Kms uphill to Vasisth Gufa, where great philosopher and writer of Hindu Epic Ramayana meditated.
