Ferrous Bisglycinate is a nutritionally functional iron amino acid chelate. It consists of one molecule of ferrous ion bound to two molecules of glycine to form a chelated structure. The advantage of ferrous bisglycinate as Iron Supplement over other sources of Iron is its greater bioavailability into the mucosal cells resulting in more iron being quickly and safely delivered to target tissues.
