This is a beautiful octagonal Concave Bagua crafted from peach wood. In its center is a mirror that curves inward (concave) and is surrounded by the Early Heaven Bagua with the Heaven (Chien or Qian) Trigram in the higher part and the Earth (Kun) Trigram in the lower part. The arrangement of the trigrams is symmetrical by forming exact contrary pairs, symbolizing the opposite forces of Yin and Yang and representing an ideal state, when everything is in balance. The back is stamped in red with protective Taoist talisman and the four celestial guardians. The Bagua mirror protects and adjusts negative Chi directed at the house from outside forces.
Peach wood is believed to be effective in driving away evil spirits and suppressing negative influences. It is therefore used extensively to make protective amulets and weapons, especially the famed Seven Star Sword for Taoist exorcism. It is thus the most suitable wood for constructing Feng Shui deflectors such as the Bagua mirrors.
The Bagua Mirror is a traditional Feng Shui cure commonly used for protection against the most malignant type of energies – the killing energy or Shar Chi generated from ‘poison arrows’ directed to your house, shop or building. Poison arrows can manifest in many forms: offending poles, lamp posts, trees, large building, edges of building, a road headed towards you, T-Junctions, escalators and other imposing structures, infrastructures or landscape in front of your house or workplace’s main door, the ‘chi’ entry point. At its best, this kind of killing Chi could result in constant arguments, depression and minor misfortunes, and at its worst brings severe sickness, mishaps, accidents and even death in the household if it is not promptly dealt with. Baguas could also repel evil spirits and people with bad intentions towards you.
A Concave Bagua is used to absorb Sha Chi and prevent it from entering the house. It neutralizes negative energies passively rather than reflecting the energies back, as is the case with Convex mirrors. In situations where hanging a Bagua may inadvertently cause harm to your neighbours or surroundings, a Concave Bagua is recommended over a Convex Bagua. While the Convex Bagua is more powerful, a Concave Bagua will usually be sufficient to do the job and not create bad karma for you.
Hang the Peach Wood Concave Early Heaven Bagua Mirror above your house entrance or porch facing the poison arrow. Always keep in mind that Baguas can only be placed outdoor and should NEVER be hung indoor or it will do great harm.
Check out our wide selection of Bagua and Mirror for protection.
