We believe that young people hold the key to a country's future. Through a good education, we aim to enable children from a disadvantaged background break free of the trap of poverty. A good education equips them with a weapon strong enough to enhance the quality of life for themselves and the local community.

QX Educational Trust

Our support mainly comes through our Education Trust - a separate non-profit trust registered under Bombay Public Trust Act 1950 sub-rule. Launched in 2011, ‘Educate to Empower’ is dedicated to help children develop skills that will possibly change their lives. Every year, we fund and facilitate the education of local children in the city of Ahmedabad. The money funds entire schooling programmes, including tuition, books and associated costs, till the children graduate.



All of the staff supports our attempts to improve the life of children and families in Ahmedabad, through this programme. Every year, those staffs who may want to make voluntary monetary contributions are encouraged to do so. QX encourages donations by matching contributions made by each employee. Now in its second year, the staff members hosted a small afternoon party in our office premises recently. We will upload photographs of the event each year and hope they bring a smile to your face as we usher in the holiday season.

Our employees are our most important asset – without them we simply don’t have a company. We know that building workplace trust is the best investment we can make as it leads to better recruitment, lower staff turnover, greater innovation, higher productivity, more loyal customers and higher profits.

Understanding our team of employees and assessing their feelings around workplace trust is therefore vital and why we invest in an annual survey through the Great Place to Work ® Institute. The model they use is derived from the definition of a great workplace as one where employees trust the people they work for, have pride in what they do, and enjoy the people they work with.

The results of previous surveys have led us to implement changes in the way we run our company and provided insight into the abilities of our managers to guide the business. It also provides a ranking to enable us to benchmark how we are performing against other organisations.

While we are still waiting for the overall ranking for 2013, this year’s survey places us just below the average achieved by the top 50 companies ranked as best places to work in India in 2012 (we scored an average 79 against the top 50 average of 82); in fact in many areas we scored substantially higher than they did.
