Polybond Acro is basically an acrylic copolymer of very fine particle size which can be used to modify ordinary cement mortars & cement concrete mortars. Mortars modified with Polybond Acro have excellent adhesion to different substrates such as brick, masonry, concrete, and wood etc. The modified mortar highly improves the mechanical properties ie. Compressive strength, Impact strength & Flexural strength. It can also use as the base coat for waterproofing of Terraces, Bathrooms, Swimming Pools, Podiums etc.

Polybond SBR is basically styrene-butadiene latex. It is designed for use in cement-latex compositions. It has good mechanical stability properties and a long-term non-foaming behaviour. It also passes the freeze-thaw cycle stability test. It gives very high resistance to the penetration of water into the cement admixture, which gives better ageing. It highly reduces the water-cement ratio thereby increasing the compressive strength of the mortar.
Application Procedure:
• First wet down the surface thoroughly. For preparing bond coat, mix 1kg Polybond SBR with 0.5 to 1 kg cement to form a lump-free consistency. This slurry can then be applied by brush on the surface.
• Within 10 minutes of application of bond coat, the polymer mortar should be applied.
• Curing should be done for 2-3 days.
Applications:
• Extensively used to make polymer modified repair mortar for RCC repair. Used for bond coat between old and new concrete. Even used for grouting applications.
