Quartz is the most important sand-forming mineral and occurs in very many sand types but usually not exclusively. In this sand type (which is aptly named quartz sand), quartzis almost the sole component of sand. Similar sandstones are called quartz arenites or orthoquartzites.

Quartz stone are natural stones obtained from mines. White Quartz Sand is produced by crushing sand stone or quartzite of open texture, and washing and grading it to yield requisite grain distribution. It is grinded to different mesh sizes in the factory. It finds applications in various industries. We generally stock three different mesh sizes. It can be called Grade/sieve/mesh size.
