Procedure For Terrace Waterproofing without breaking

1) Proper Diagnosis of the Terrace to find out the hollow areas,slope perfection,Flashing provision(panipatti) and other basic civil works done earlier.

2) Proper Cleaning of the terrace,parapet inside & outside,Chajjas(top & sides) to remove all loose material. Cracks if any to be filled with acrylic sealant/PU sealant on horizontal coba. In parapet wall cracks can be filled with regular crack fillling powder.If we are using a fibre mat re-inforcement layer in between the chemical coats, cracks can be left unattended so as to allow the space needed in expansion contraction of old coba.

3) Keeping the surface slightly moist with spray. Applying first coat of WP-118 mixed with cement in a thick consistency. On wet chemical surface laying the Fibre Mat and pressing it with roller.

4) Applying second coat of WP-118 chemical mixed with cement on the fibre surace after 4 hours interval. It can also be simultaneously applied on the first coat.

5) Applying two coats of elastomeric acrylic coating LeakProof in thicker consistency at an interval of 4 hours.

Warranty - 5 years

Important: RCC member/ceiling plaster of top floor flats should be in good condition otherwise cracks are observed in brick bat coba every now & then.
