Ragatharang Orchestra, founded in 1977 at Mananthavady has its remarkable significance in the cultural domain of the locale. The Orchestra has more than 3000 Music Shows and 19 Mega Stage Programs across the various states of India to its credit.
Ragatharang associated with many of the well-known singers of Kerala like Yesudas, Rimi Tomy, Afsal, Idea Star Singer Winners etc during its numerous stage shows. There are number of Christian Devotional Albums having the background scores of Ragatharang Orchestra ever since its inception.
Ragatharang Institute, another musical undertaking from Ragatharang, gives classes in Vocals, Guitar, Organ, Tabala, Flute etc. Ragatharang Instruments is the sales division of Ragatharang for all sorts of musical instruments.OUR KEY TALENTS AT RAGATHARANG ORCHESTRAThe musical family of Ragatharang embraces eight instrumental artists and five singers.
Josy Joseph: Having 36 years of experience in the sphere, he is the director and key board artist of Ragatharang Orchestra. Titled of the B grade artist with AIR, he worked with Yesudas, Sreenivasan, Jayachandran, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Gayathri, Afsal at various music programs.
Thankachan: He is the tabla artist of Ragatharang. Got trained from the renowned tabla masters in Mumbai, he is into the musical field since 1982.
Shaji: He is active in the musical sphere since 1985, proficient with tabla and jazz.
Varghese: He is the base guitarist of Ragatharang from the past 10 years.
Santhosh: He is the rhythm composer of Ragatharang since 1992.
Saju K: Having 15 years of experience and a B grade artist with AIR, he is the lead guitarist of Ragatharang.
Anil: He is the flute artist with Ragatharang, having 10 years of experience.
Akshay Sebastian: A bygone School Youth Festival winner, he is the lead guitarist and tabla player of the family.
SINGERSKrishnankumar (Malayalam Singer): Made his presence in Malayalam playback singing and lots of devotional musical albums. He has got 15 years of experience in the industry.
Saji (Hindi Singer): Active in the musical sphere past 20 years.
Jiju (Tamil Singer): Important singer of the family is with Ragatharang past 3 years.
Keerthana V.V: Entered professional music field at the age of 5 (Five) through Ragatharang Orchestra. 1500+ stage performance experience. Competed in various channel reality shows. Part of several audio albums.
