Rajan Marketing Private Limited started its operation in the year 1992 under the style and name M/s. Rajan Marketing Agencies, as a small enterpreneur, marketing Industrial Products, with an ambitious vision to represent a new product with values of quality culture.
In the year 1993 a company called M/s. Pix Transmissions Ltd., Nagpur, manufacturing industrial V--belts was looking for an entry in this market. Rajan Marketing Agencies, had taken up the up-hill task of introducing the products. Initially, we are appointed as the distributors for telengana area covering 8 districts of A.P. The target given by the company was 15 Lakhs in the very first year of introduction, which was very high for a new product, as the competition was with multinational companies like Dunlop, Good-Year, Fenner, Hilton, etc. In spite of all odds, we had achieved 19 Lakhs business.
In the year 1994, the company had set us the target of 25 Lakhs against which we achieved business of 36 Lakhs. In the year 1995, the company had set the target for 45 Lakhs and increased our area of operation to 12 districts and we achieved the business of 76 Lakhs. Impressed with our performance, we are appointed as sole distributors for entire Andhra Pradesh in the year 1996.
In the year 1996, M/s. Rajan Marketing Agencies, was registered as M/s. Rajan Marketing Private Limited, changing the constitution into a Limited Company. Having accepted the big responsibility of entire State, everyone in the organisation had to perform their best. In the process many new accounts were introduced from SteelI Industries, Cement, N.T.P.C., Coal, Ordinance, O.N.G.C., B.H.E.L., Paper, Textiles, Railways, etc. giving us very good encouraging orders. During the same time, our Principal's M/s. Pix Transmission Limited were awarded the prestigious ISO-9002 and QS-9000 certification. This had boosted our business to great levels. Due to limited financial resources, there were the signs of cash flow problems. Hence, policy decision was taken in agreement with the principal's that sub-distributors was appointed at various centres. In the year 1997, the first sub-distributor was appointed at Secunderabad. In the year 1998 second sub-distributor was appointed at Vishakapatnam. In 1999, the third sub-distributor was appointed at Vijayawada. With this policy decision the sales for the product had increased steadily. At the same time our direct involvement in marketing had reduced, as the respective sub-distributors were given the responsibility of marketing their areas. We had to only monitor and guide them from time to time.
In the year 1999 November, M/s. Pix Transmissions Limited had increased their product range, started producing automotive and pressure hoses. With our past experience, once again we are given the responsibility of marketing their new products. The Automobile Industry is fast growing under heavy competitive market. We have strong plans to attack the market and make our headway in the field. We have started marketing these products under the name of M/s. Sri Lakshmi Agencies from September 2000. We are very confident of making it as big as our earlier ventures. We would like to be the leaders with help of Quality, Process, Services and People.
