The Department offers both Four year B.Tech ,& Two year M.Tech Courses since 2000 & 2009 respectively. The present era is the era of Electronics and Communication engineering. We cannot imagine the todays life without electronics. Over a last few decades Electronics Engineering is one of the largest and fastest growing industries. It covers a wide range of applications, from radio to mobile phones, from bikes to airplanes, missiles, fighter planes and ships.
The Department at present offer B.Tech and M.Tech in Electronics & Communication. The Department of Electronics and Communication was established in the Year of 2000 and M.Tech Course in Digital communication and VLSI Technology was started in 2010 and 2011 respectively.The Department has highly qualified and competent faculty members. The primary objective of the department has been to impart quality education. In order to ensure high standards of education for its students, the department has well-equipped and fully furnished laboratories to supplement the theory courses like the Basic Electronics Lab, the Microprocessor Lab, Microwave Engineering Lab and Digital Signal Processing Lab, vlsi lab, wireless communication lab. The department aims to develop specialized knowledge in Electronics and Communication Engineering with much emphasis on practicals to develop the student’s skills in Electronics design manufacturing applications and repairs. The department is concerned about the professional needs of the students and arranges various in-house events such as technical events, seminars, PDP classes, workshops, conferences etc. Guest lectures of internationally renowned speakers from IITs, NITs and other regional engg. colleges are recurrently organized to inform students about the latest developments in the field of electronics. Over the last few years, the department has seen good placements.

Welcome to the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering at Rajasthan Institute of Engineering & Technology, Jaipur. The Electrical & Electronics Engineering Department is one of the oldest department of the institute which was established in the year 2000. Presently, the department offers both undergraduate and postgraduate Courses with the specialization in Power Systems in Electrical Engineering. The Department has well equipped laboratories such as Electrical Machines laboratory, Power Systems Laboratory, Control Systems laboratory, Electrical Measurements laboratory, Power Electronics & Drives Laboratory, Electrical workshop & Computer laboratory. The faculty members has been active in teaching and research activities and regularly producing research publications in international and national journals and conferences.
Students passed out from this department get excellent placements through campus selection both in the core area industries and for software companies of national and international level. Alumni of Electrical & Electronics Engineering Department are very well placed in all sectors and have reached to the top level positions in the state/centre government and private organizations

The Department of Mechanical Engineering is one of the best in the Institute. Its highly qualified and experienced faculty works with dedication and motivation. The department keeps in mind the ever changing challenges of modern day industry and its commitment to produce knowledgeable and responsible Mechanical Engineers, fully aware of the tasks ahead. This department aims at providing basic knowledge in Mechanical Engineering along with in-depth knowledge in the design of mechanical components and machines, production engineering, techniques of management, computer programming, numerical analysis and CAD / CAM.
The lab and workshop facilities in the department are as under: Material Testing lab, Applied Mechanics and dynamics Lab, Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer Lab, Thermal Engineering and IC Engine Lab, Metrology and Mechanical Measurement Lab and CAD / CAM Lab.
The Association of Mechanical Engineering has been regularly conducting Seminars and guest lectures by eminent personalities in various fields of Mechanical Engineering.
