Composition: Each ml suspension contains 100 U (equivalent to 3.5 mg) of insulin aspart (rDNA Origin) (Soluble insulin aspart & Protamine crystallised insulin aspart 30:70), glycerol (Ph. Eur., USP, JP) 16.0 mg, phenol (Ph. Eur., USP, JP) 1.50 mg, metacresol (Ph. Eur., USP) 1.72 mg, zinc chloride (Ph. Eur., USP, JP) 19.6 μg, disodium phosphate dihydrate (Ph. Eur., USP) 1.25 mg, sodium chloride (Ph. Eur., USP, JP) 0.877 mg, protamine sulphate (Ph. Eur., JP) Approx. 0.32 mg, hydrochloric acid (Ph. Eur., USP, JP) Approx. 1.7 mg (for pH adjustment), sodium hydroxide (Ph. Eur., USP, JP) Approx. 2.2 mg (for pH adjustment) and water for injections (Ph. Eur., USP, JP) to make 1.0 ml. Before opening: Store in a refrigerator (2°C to 8°C). Do not freeze. During use: Do not refrigerate. Store below 30°C. Use within 4 weeks. Do not freeze.
