Dr Sandip Kr Roy is a Consultant General Physician, Psychologist & Cognitive Hypnotherapist with 14+ years of practice experience. He is a medical graduate from N.R.S. Medical College & Hospital (Calcutta University), where he earned his MBBS degree in 1997. He then went on to work as a Resident Physician in various hospitals of high repute in Delhi NCR, namely Batra Hospital & Medical Research Centre, Dharamshila Cancer Hospital & Research Centre, Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, Kailash Hospital & Research Centre, Prakash Hospital, Metro Hospital And Heart Institute. During these years of his residentship, he has handled a vastly diverse category of patients in emergency rooms, indoor wards & OPDs. He also attained competence in the use of IT imperative to patient care, as information storage and retrieval systems, and hospital management system. He passed PLAB (Part 1) from General Medical Council, London, in 2003.

He has also worked as a Head of the Medical Academic Faculty at CybOrg Institute of Medical Transcription, Noida in 1997-1998, where he crafted & developed medical transcription curriculum content, taught medical subjects to aspiring & on-the-job medical transcriptionists with an emphatic focus on simplifying the technical language at all levels. During his tenure there, he integrated & developed transcription training & English language instruction with medical academics at the workstation level.

He earned his Post-Graduate Diploma in Psychological Counseling (PGDPC) from Institute for Behavioral & Management Sciences, Chittoor (Andhra Pradesh), in 2007. His credentials as a Cognitive Hypnotherapist are self-acquired over years of academia, deep research and rigorous practice. He has conducted numerous seminars & workshops on Hypnosis & Hypnotherapy, and consulted many clients/patients towards their therapy & wellness.

He is presently practicing successfully as a Consultant General Physician & Psychologist at Rama Krishna HealthCare (RKHC), Delhi, a 6-bedded multispecialty clinic, which he jointly established in 2001.
