ReGen signs contract with M/s NSL Wind Power Company (Kayathar) Pvt. Ltd for the 49.50 MW project at Vaspet site, Maharashtra.

ReGen has developed its own permanent magnet gearless wind turbines of 2.8MW and 3.0MW capacity. The 2.8MW turbine is a class IIIA design with a rotor diameter of 109m and 3.0MW is a class IIA with a rotor diameter of 100m. They are designed according to IEC 61400-01 Edition 3 standard. The design assessment statement has been issued by TUV-Sued,Germany.
Currently, the prototype WEC for wd2.8+ 109 is assembled and is under final shop floor testing, after which it will be type tested at ReGen''s Test Site. Wd 2.8+ 109 will suit to low and medium windzones worldwide.
