This 3S 40A Li-ion Battery Protection Board is designed to protect lithium-ion batteries that have a normal voltage of 3.7V and a fully charged voltage of 4.2V. The Li-ion Battery Protection Board is basically a protection IC for 3-serial-cell lithium-ion/ lithium polymer rechargeable batteries. It protects them from overcharge, over-discharge, overcurrent, and Short circuit by using the SEL pin for switching.

This is a BMS with a 25A current and 11.1V  12.6Vvoltage rating to charge 3 cells of Li-ion cells. The module comes with overcharge protection, over-discharge protection, short circuit, and over current protection features.

It has board charging and discharging at the same port, the board includes the balanced circuit.

The 3S 10A 12V 18650 Lithium Battery Charger Board Protection Module is designed for a series combination of three 18650 batteries or polymer lithium batteries. It can charge lithium batteries with a rated voltage of 10.8V for polymer batteries, 11.1V for 18650 or 3.7V batteries, and 12.6V. It can also discharge up to 10A (the maximum current limit for discharge). The module has built-in protection against over-charging, over-discharging, over-current, and short circuit.
