About Us
1996 was an important year, the year, the promoters decided to enter the printing business to fulfill growing demands of the global market. 1997; SMARTTECH started production of self-adhesive labels, security stickers and induction sealing wads and by 2004, the company had started exports to Africa & Middle East. SMARTTECH started scratch card production for the Indian market in 2005 (the "boom" time of cellular networks). It signed contracts & started servicing some of the well known carriers like Reliance, Idea Cellular etc. The international expansion started soon, into Asian markets. First contract was signed with mobile carrier Spice Nepal, now NCell (TELIASONERA GROUP) in 2008. By the end of 2010, we had signed more than 15 contracts with telecom companies or groups. Apart from the extension in Asian markets SMARTTECH parallely started penetrating the fast growing African market. A couple of contracts were signed with pan-African groups like MILLICOM, AIRTEL AFRICA, P.T.COMPRAS etc serving more & more countries in Africa. In 2011 SMARTTECH came to the CIS market. Today, we are supplying scratch cards to almost all Indian cellular carriers. International brands like Shell, BASF, Bayer, Syngenta, IOCL, Mukwano Group, Reliance, Dabur etc also trust us with their artwork printing needs.
