ALBROXIM (Cefpodoxime Proxetil Tablets 100 / 200 mg)

ALBROXIM (Cefpodoxime Proxetil Tablets) contains the generic medicine Cefpodoxime which is an anti-infective agent active against both Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria. It is available in 100 /200 mg doses. Cefpodoxime Proxetil is used in the treatment of various bacterial infections such as acute otitis media, pharyngitisand sinusitis. It belongs to the third generation cephalosporin group of antibiotics. ALBROXIM exhibits bactericidal activity by inhibiting the cellwall synthesis. Common side effects include diarrhea, nausea/vomiting, or headache and these may be treated with therapeutical doses.

ALBROXIM is a well tolerated formulation which provide good bacteriological and clinical efficacy in both adults and paediatric patients. It is an effective alternative to beta-lactam therapies in the treatment of respiratory, urinary tracts infections, skin and soft tissues.

Recommended dose:

The dosages and durations of therapy vary according to the type of infections.

NIXWORM-400 (Albendazole Tablets) is an orally administered medication which is effective against flatworms, tapeworms and nermatode infections. Albendazole is a Broad-Spectrum Anthelmintic which belongs to the group of benzimidazole derivative and contains the active ingredient Albendazole 400 mg per tablet. 
NIXWORM-400 (Albendazole Tablets) causes degenerative changes in the intestinal cells of the worms by binding to the colchicine-sensitive site of tubulin, and thus inhibits its polymerization which thereby results in decreased production of ATP enzyme and thus the parasite is immobilized and eventually dies.
NIXWORM-400 inhibits the enzyme fumarate reductase, which is helminth-specific. It has less side effects. Albendazole is safe and easy to administer. Its use has improved the general community health, nutrition and the development of children.
Recommended dose: 
•For Patients 60 kg or greater: 400 mg twice daily, with meals.
•Patients less than 60 kg: 15 mg/kg/day given in divided doses twice daily with meals (maximum total daily dose 800 mg).

ROGAL (Ursodesoxycolic Acid Tablets 150 / 300 mg)

TROGAL (Ursodesoxycolic Acid Tablets) is one of the secondary bile acids, which are metabolic byproducts of intestinal bacteria containing the generic medicine Ursodeoxycholic acid. It is used for the treatment of cholestatic liver diseases, gallstone dissolution, and for patients with Hepatitis C virus infection to improve elevated Alanine Aminotransferase levels. Ursodesoxycolic Acid Tablets are available in 150 / 300 mg doses.

TROGAL (Ursodesoxycolic Acid Tablets) helps in the regulation of cholesterol by suppressing hepatic synthesis and secretion of cholesterol and inhibiting intestinal absorption of cholesterol. It is also known as Ursodiol. It is rapidly and completely absorbed from the GI tract. Accidental overdosing with TROGAL (Ursodesoxycolic Acid Tablets) has not been reported. CRYCOL (Colchicine Tablets) acts by reduction in crystallization of uric acid leading to a reduction in the inflammatory response.Its overdosage is associated with gastrointestinal, hepatic, renal, neuromuscular, and cerebral toxicity, bone marrow damage and high mortality.

Recommended dose: The usual dose to relieve from an attack is 1 to 1.2 mg of Colchicine tablets.

For Acute Gouty Arthritis : Two tablets of Colchicine 0.5 / 1 mg initially followed by one tablet every hour until pain is relieved.

For Prophylaxis Against Attacks of Gout in Patients Undergoing Surgery : One tablet to be taken three times daily. It should be administered three days before and three days after surgery.
