TSC is excited to introduce its first series of 2" wide thermal transfer desktop printers. The TTP-225 Series of desktop thermal transfer printers brings TSC quality, innovation, performance, reliability and value to the small footprint 2" wide printer market.

The TTP-225 Series delivers premium performance for most retail, medical and office applications at an affordable price. The TTP-225 features a user friendly clamshell design with a large 5" OD center biased media capacity. Designed with no losable parts, it is the perfect size when you need a space-saving printer for 2" wide labels or tags. Simply open the cover and drop your labels into the printers spring loaded media guide. Top of form sensing by gap, black mark, or notch is standard and completely adjustable from side to side.

Choose either standard 203 dpi or higher resolution 300 dpi solutions. The TTP-225 features 203 dpi resolution and print speeds up to 5 inches per second. The 300 dpi TTP-323 is ideal for 2-D barcodes, fine text and small graphics labeling.

The TTP-225 is the first low cost thermal transfer compact 2" desktop printer to offer an optional LCD display to its customers. The LCD is used to present important information about print job status and setup which brings a new level of ease of use to its customers. Other outstanding features include an inexpensive internal Ethernet adapter for easy integration into network systems, cutters, label present sensor, and an optional keyboard for printing labels in stand-alone or down-time situations.

The introduction of the new TE200 Series expands TSC Auto ID''s growing line of affordable, high-performance desktop-class label printers. 

The TE200 Series provides customers throughout the world with a competitive, durable, entry-level desktop printer that is both versatile and easy-to-use. The series now offers four models.

The first two models available in the TE200 series are the flagship TE200 and TE210 which offer the industry standard 8 dots per mm (203 dpi) print resolution at an industry best 6 inches per second, and the 12 dots per mm (300 dpi) TE300 and TE310 for use with printing small fonts, barcodes, or graphics. The TE200 Series offer customers a great combination of price and performance, that features a fast 400 MHz processor, TE200 and TE300 features 16 MB of DRAM and 8 MB of Flash storage memory, while TE210 and TE310 features 64 MB of SDRAM and 128 MB of Flash memory, and a two-year warranty that is the best in the thermal label printer industry.

Innovation and Value
The new TE200 Series of 4" wide desktop-class thermal label printers were designed and built to deliver best in-class performance at a price other printers simply can''t match. The TE200''s modular thermal transfer print mechanism protected by an outer ABS shell is designed to withstand tough environments. These affordable, hardworking printers will print high quality labels all day long, producing thousands of clear, crisp barcode and identification labels per day. 

Innovations include energy saving Energy Star 2.0 rating matched with an easy to load print mechanism. The printer will take both 1/2" core 72 meter to 110 meter, or 1"  core 300-meter thermal transfer ribbons allowing customer to use whichever supply of ribbons they have available. The TE200 offers multiple printer language emulations right out of the box, and a powerful scalable font engine which makes it easy to replace nearly any existing label printers. 

Both the printhead and platen roller can be easily changed without using any tools. The printer features both Gap and Black Mark sensing to accurate label registration. And the media cabinet can handle industry standard 5 inch OD labels on 1" or 1.5" cores. The powerful hybrid electric motor is strong enough to handle larger 8" OD label rolls on its optional external label unwinder.

The TE200 Series innovative design offers our resellers new opportunities to satisfy unique market applications. The print mechanism which normally resides within the printer may be purchased separately for those looking to integrate custom label printing capability into their own manufactured designs. Applications for this unique print mechanism can include use with kiosk applications, small label applicators, two color on-demand printing, and two-sided printing.

The TTP-2610MT Series of 6.6 inch wide industrial thermal transfer printers has been newly updated with high speed electronics that allow for faster print speeds combined with improved print quality. The TTP-2610MT Series is specifically designed for applications that require high quality wide format thermal transfer or direct thermal labels. 

The TTP-2610MT standard features include a large color LCD touch display, built-in Ethernet, USB 2.0, USB host, parallel and serial communications as well as a an SD FLASH memory card reader that allows users to inexpensively add up to 32 GB of additional storage memory for a wide variety of fonts and graphics.

The TTP-2610MT Series features the best print quality TSC has ever offered in a wide web printer thanks to new printhead technology combined with faster processors and upgraded firmware. We call our enhanced print quality "Thermal Smart Control" which tracks and precisely calculates the duration that each pixel needs to be heated to provide accurate, crisp and clear labels every time, whether you are printing one label at a time or thousands of labels in a batch.

Compared to its predecessor, the TTP-2610MT is faster, performing at up to 12 inches per second and has an increased memory of 512 MB Flash and 256 MB SDRAM.

The TDP-247 series direct thermal label printer offers best-in-class speed and high-resolution capabilities, along with a rugged, reliable design that has become the hallmark of the TSC printer family.

The TDP-247 series features two high speed models – the TDP-247 and TDP-345 – both ideally suited for product marking, shipping, retail and other labeling applications. The TDP-247 can print four-inch-wide 203 dpi labels at speeds up to 7 inches per second. The TDP-345 offers high resolution 300 dpi printing at speeds up to 5 inches per second. Both models come standard with USB, parallel and serial connections. Other options include an internal Ethernet interface for easy network integration, label cutters, and a keyboard for printing labels in stand-alone or down-time situations.

Because of their compact design, the TDP-247 series printers are ideally suited for a variety of applications, fitting easily into cramped work spaces that are often too small for larger printers. The ME240 printer's unique design features a heavy-duty die-cast aluminum print mechanism, which TSC will make available as a stand-alone unit to partners who want to design and build their own custom packaging machine or label applicator. The print mechanism includes a ribbon handler and printhead assembly and is designed to hold the electronics main board. This compact assembly is ideal for resellers who want to develop low-cost customized solutions for packaging, product marking and other applications.

While priced for value, the ME240 series offers two models loaded with popular features, and offers a selection of options and accessories to further enhance its capabilities to meet the demands of a wide range of printing solutions. Standard features include USB and Serial connectivity, a 2-button 3-LED (basic model)/ 6-button LCD (advanced model) control panel 3-button LED display, Real Time Clock, 8 MB SDRAM memory, 4 MB Flash memory and an SD Flash memory card reader that allows for Flash memory expansion up to 4 GB.

The ME240 series features TSPL-EZ firmware that is easy to set up and use. TSPL-EZ offers automatic TPLZ and TPLE language emulation right out of the box. The printer simply translates each label format as the printer receives it. The included DiagTool configuration software makes it a snap to replace existing printers with a modern durable ME240 series printer. Other TSPL-EZ features include a file manager and programming language that support stand-alone and down-time programming solutions allowing you to print labels without connection to a host computer, or optionally be able to continue printing labels during times of network failure.
