• Step 1: Surface Preparation: New concrete/plaster surface should be allowed to mature properly. Ensure that the surface is clean, dry, free from all loose particles, dust, dirt, grease, wax, mould, fungal growth etc. before application and all surfaces should be thoroughly rubbed down using a suitable abrasive paper and thereafter wiped off.
• Step 2: Application process: Prime surface with ICI cement primer and allow it to dry overnight. Use a mixture of 1 part of Dulux Velvet Touch with 1 part of whiting or oil-based putty or IC readymade wall filter to rectify and smoothen out the surface. Sand and apply another coat of primer. Dilute the paint with 25% - 40% clean water and apply 2 coats of paint on the wall.
• Step 3: Drying time: Touch dry for the paint is 30 minutes and allow 4 hours of drying time for recoating.

Apply 2-3 coats of Dulux Promise Sheen Interior and allow a drying time of 4-6 hours between the coats. Normally two coats of paint are enough for opacity and the desired finish.
• Step 3 : Drying Time: Drying time may vary according to temperature and humidity. For instance, drying time will be significantly longer in cool and humid conditions.
