Ferro Vanadium is usually produced from Vanadium sludge (or titanium bearing magnetite ore processed to produce pig iron) & available in the range V: 50 – 85%. Ferro Vanadium acts as a universal hardener, strengthener & anti-corrosive additive for steels like High strength low alloy steel, tool steel, as well as other ferrous-based products. Ferro Vanadium is mainly produced in China. China, Russia & South Africa account for more than 75% of global vanadium mine production. Ferro Vanadium can also be supplied as Nitrided FeV. The strengthening effect of Vanadium is enhanced in presence of increased Nitrogen levels.

Manganese is the twelfth most abundant metal found in the earth’s crust & fourth most commonly used metal in terms of quantity behind Iron, Aluminium & Copper.
