Our company founded in 1977 by late Mr. S.V. Easwara Chettiar as a handloom cloth manufacturing company. Somakannan Textiles is now recognized as one the leading manufacturer and exporter of home textiles such as Apron Sets, Napkins, Dish Cloth, Bed Linen, Beach Linen, Table Linen, Chair Pads, Kitchen Towels, Tea Towels, Brits Checks Tea Towels, Printed Tea Towels, Curtains, Yarn Dyed Curtains, Cushion Covers and Yarn Dyed Cushion. For evidencing this company has received the Govt.of india recogonized Export House and certificate of merit by handloom export promotion council.
As a 100% family owned business the company is now run by five brothersRamalingam, Selvaraj, Balasubramaniam, Kalidas and Amirthalingameach specializing in different areas of the company management structure.
