- After the active power filter is started, the active power filter automatically adapts to the impedance characteristics of the power distribution system and then sends out offset currents in an increasing pattern like ascending a flight of stairs through the neural network algorithm. Within 5 minutes, it can compensate the rated capacity or the required compensation capacity of the system.
- If a resonance point is found in a certain harmonic current, the active power filter should stop that harmonic compensation and use the capacity instead to compensate other harmonic currents where no resonance is found, so as to achieve real-time stable system with places that are without resonance and the compensation can reach THDi ≤5%.
Resonance monitoring :

Monitor the system impedance in real time, and once resonance is found, the active power filter will switch off automatically to stop outputting offset currents. If after 15 seconds, the situation of system impedance has changed, then the active power filter should be put back into operation for compensation. If resonance takes place for 3 times within 5 minutes, then the active power filter will automatically switch off for readjustment.
Monitor in real time ABC three-phase IGBT and the heating value of inductance temperature. When resonance occurs in the system or the temperature gets too high, the system will send out over-temperature alarm and will automatically switch off to stop compensation.
Adaptation to extreme voltage conditions:
The application needs of different industries are fully considered and the products can work within a voltage operating range of -40%~20%, and they can also adapt to extreme voltage conditions.
