Engine Assembly

Long block is an automotive term for an engine sub-assembly that consists of the assembled block, crankshaft, cylinder head, camshaft (usually), and valve train. A long block does not include fuel system, electrical, intake, and exhaust components, as well as other components (see below for a more complete list).

A short block is an engine sub-assembly comprising the portion of the cylinder block below the head gasket but above the oil pan. An in-block cam engine includes the camshaft, timing gear, and any balance shafts.

Seat Assembly

Major Equipments For Seat Assembly

  1. PU foam Moudling Machines.
  2. High frequency welding Machines
  3. Leather Cutting Machines
  4. Leather Stitching Machines
  5. Conveyorized Assembly Lines
Track Assembly

The track plates should be screwed onto the inside of the posts using the appropriate fasteners: 8mm M5 screws and tee nuts if the posts are aluminum extrusions, standard wood screws if attaching onto wood posts. The top of the posts should NOT be flush with the top of the plates. Rather, the top of the posts should come up to cover only half of the plates.

Cylinder Assembly  The cylinder head assembly is a vital part of any engine, especially with the AC as the overhead camshaft design means that all the valves, rockers and the driven timing gear are carried in the head.

Engine Car Seat Cylinder Head

Cylinder heads (commonly just called “heads”) are the big piece of metal which caps and seals the end of the cylinder bore.

Types of Cylinder Heads:

There are three basic types of cylinder heads:

  • Flathead Cylinder Head – These cylinder heads were used on older engines such as the flat-head Ford engines (like seen below). The oval protrusion at the top of the cylinder head is for coolant flow. Coolant would flow up from the block and through passages in the head (between bolt holes) and out through this oval port at the top.

Overhead Valve Head (OHV) – This type of cylinder head has been used extensively from the 1950s and are still used today. These heads have the valves located within them instead of in the block like the flathead. The valves are actuated indirectly from the cam through a valve train, which usually consists of lifters (tappets), push rods, and rocker arms. An OHV head usually looks something like these Chevrolet heads below. In the picture, the flat surface of the head (right side of the image) is the portion which faces the engine block. The left side is where you see the valve tips, valve springs, retainers, and keepers. On top of these is where you would see the rocker arms if they were installed.

Special Purpose Machine
Special Purpose Machines (SPM) are those Machine which are not Available Off the Shelf. These are not Covered in Standard Manufacturing Programs. There Fore they have to be Designed & Tailor Made as Per the Customers Specific Requirements.
They are also Called as Bespoke Machines.

Always in the Production process there is a Long Felt need to Improve the Quality of Product, Minimize Rejection and Increase the Productivity per Person, to Cater to the Pressing Circumstances in the GLOBALISED WORLD ECONOMY.

The answer to this need is use of Special Purpose Machines (SPM) giving very High Productivity. The theme can be Further Elaborated by doing a Full Scale Automation of the  of the Industrial Process, wherever Possible. The use of Special Purpose Machines (SPM) And Automation Minimizes Possibility of Human Errors and also Reduces Human Fatigue in Carrying out Repetitive Operations again And again. It also Assures the Quality and Interchangeability of Parts, by Carrying out the Same Designed Process each time without any Shortcuts.

The Special Purpose Machines (SPM) And Automatic Machines are Designed to Operate Continuously for 24 hours a day, with Minimum Supervision. The Special Purpose Machines are Generally Product Specific & they are Required to be Designed & Developed for each Specific Requirement. Sometimes it May be Possible to Cater to the Jobs having Similar Features but Differing in Dimensions by Using Change Tooling Concept.

These Special Purpose Machines (SPM) are either Cam Operated Machine or they use Hydraulics & Pneumatics as Actuating Elements or Combination of all the three of them. Many times a Dedicated Programmable Logic Controller is used in Conjunction with Positional Sensors & Transducers, to give Commands to the Actuating Elements some Times Different Special Motors like Stepper Motor & Servo Motors are used as Actuating Element. The Productivity Achieved after all these Efforts is very high. Productivity of 3 to 10 times are Achievable. However to Fetch the Fruits of these Highly Specialized Machines the Pre Condition is that the Input to the Automatic Machine must have Strict Quality Control.
