Colour Mixing Matching Capabilities:

At ssmotors, we are experts in colour mixing matching. Paint mixing is more an art than a science. Colour of a vehicle changes with time depending on its use maintenance. Keeping your car exposed to nature like sun, rain, moisture, heat can cause fading or dulling. If only one or more panels in a vehicle are to be painted, our artists will carefully match the colour shade to the rest of the vehicle rather than just following manufacturer recommendations. We carry a wide range of clears, tints and base to mix any shade to your requirement.

All work is carried out using the very latest in body repair technology, allowing you a convenient and very affordable high quality service. We use Miracle Panel Repair System, Plasma Cutter, Airless Plastic Welder, Spot Welder, Mig Welder for Denting. Using these tools allows us to repair damaged body panels from the outside. This avoids the time consuming strip and refit process normally involved in the repair of damaged body panels. Hence, we are able to benefit our customers by reducing repair costs and time the vehicle is off the road [how?]. Painting is only done inside a paint booth. [Why is a paint booth important?

Dent Removal Tips:

Plunger: Wet the dent with water and wipe it with dish liquid. Press the plunger against the car to create suction, then pull it back using the same motions. Do this until the dent pops back into place.

Hammer and Dolly:Place the dolly against the highest point of the back side of the dent. Gently tap the dolly with the hammer until the sheep metal moves back into place.

Body Filler:For small dents, body filler is an easy way to go. This requires no drilling or using a dent puller. Apply a thick coat of body filler. Allow the filler to dry for at least an hour and then sand it smooth Once the area is smooth with the surrounding surface of the car, you can apply primer and then paint to completely finish the dent.

Under Body Care Service

A car's underbody is exposed to the most wear and tear. And because it's not in plain sight, we often do not see the damage caused by muddy water, potholed roads, stones and other obstacles on the road. In addition, bad climatic conditions like humidity and rain also cause the car's underbody to rust.

Damage to the underbody is also caused by flying stones and chips, that dent the under chassis and scrape off the protective paint coating. This leads to rust and corrosion.

Rust is the single biggest enemy of all car's. It weakens the body of the car, causes squeaks and noises, and is prone to get damaged faster.

Modern car brakes are on all four wheels and are operated by hydraulics. Many cars have disc brakes on the front wheels as they take most of the weight when the brakes are applied. Drum brakes are typically used on the back wheels. High performance or expensive cars can have all disc brakes and older or smaller cars can have all drum brakes.

When you apply pressure to your brake pedal, the force is transferred to brake fluid. The power from a human leg is obviously not enough to stop a car, so through the physics of leverage, hydraulics and friction, the force you put on the brake is multiplied by a factor of 36 by the time the brakes come into effect. The calliper has one or more hydraulic cylinders containing pistons. Whenever you press the brake pedal, the pistons exert pressure on the brake pad.
