Studio Dra International Designers Private Limited

This building is the headquarters for the largest manufacturer of concrete blocks in California. It is organised around a central open plan space with cellular ancilliary spaces to the perimeter. The open plan office space is free-spanned by timber trusses. The overarching roof shields the space from the intense sun of Southern California. The walls are made of concrete block of course to showcase the work of this family-run firm. The rest of the materials are also industrial in their aesthetic to match this location with its strip mining and factories.

This modern 117,575 sq ft building is an individual Green rated building satisfying the international standards in terms of services and facilities. Since the proposed building is an ecologically sensitive area, particular care has been made to design with minimum site intervention.

Concept Design proposals for a 38,000ft2 marketing centre for a 40 million ft2 development WAVE City Center. The two level building integrates architecture interior design exhibition design and branding.
