ACTAMASE FORTE INJECTION is a fixed-dose combination of cefepime and tazobactam which belongs to the group of medicines called antibiotics. It is used to treat several bacterial infections like lower respiratory tract infections such as pneumonia, acute bacterial exacerbation causing breathing difficulties, urinary tract infections, pyelonephritis, skin infections, abdominal and biliary tract infections, vaginal infections, bacteraemia, and bacterial meningitis in infants and children.

ACTAMASE FORTE INJECTION is also used along with other antibacterial agents in the management of neutropenia caused by bacterial infection. Pneumonia is an infection that causes inflammation in the air sac, producing a cough with phlegm and shortness of breath. Pyelonephritis is a urinary tract infection affecting the urinary bladder that later spreads to the kidneys.

Bacteremia is an infectious condition indicating the presence of bacteria in the bloodstream. Bacterial meningitis is an infection caused by bacteria in the region surrounding the brain. Neutropenic means low levels of neutrophils (a type of white blood cell) in our body.

ACTAMASE FORTE INJECTION should not be used in patients allergic to penicillin antibiotics, cefepime, tazobactam and other beta-lactam antibiotics. ACTAMASE FORTE INJECTION should be used with caution in patients with kidney and liver diseases. Avoid using other aminoglycoside antibiotics and diuretics, and ACTAMASE FORTE INJECTION.

There is no proper information regarding the use of ACTAMASE FORTE INJECTION in pregnant women and so it should be used with caution in pregnant women. Linetic 300 ml belongs to the class of medicines called oxazolidinones used to treat bacterial infections of the lungs (pneumonia), and skin. It is also used to treat infections which are resistant to other antibiotics. Bacterial infections are caused due to the multiplication of harmful bacteria inside or on the body. Linetic 300 ml does not work against infections caused by the virus, including cold and flu.

Linetic 300 ml contains Linezolid. It treats infection by stopping the growth of infection-causing bacteria. 

Linetic 300 ml shows some common side-effects like thrush (fungal infection), headache, metallic taste, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, constipation, indigestion and localized pain. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to consult your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Inform your doctor before receiving this injection if you are pregnant or planning pregnancy. Linetic 300 ml passes into breastmilk and can cause diarrhoea and vomiting in infants; therefore, discontinue breastfeeding prior to and throughout the treatment. Avoid alcohol consumption while taking Linetic 300 ml as it may cause increased dizziness. Linetic 300 ml may cause dizziness and vision problems, so drive and operate machinery only if you are alert.
