A pioneer of the Indian wind energy sector, Suzlon has now forayed into the solar energy sector. It is our first year of operations and we have orders totalling 515 MW in the pipeline.

The Solar Power Projects in India are promoted through tendering process followed by reverse auction.We have developed tendering expertise in solar and following support is available to thecustomers having pre-bid tie-up with us:

• Competitor analysis on the basis of past bids
• Complete project costing
• Tariff calculations and bidding, including tariff strategy
• Assistance with reverse auction

We consider ourselves to be the custodians of our customers’ assets and thus offer the advantage of lifetime support to customers through OMS contracts. A range of services are offered and fulfilled by the OMS team to ensure smooth functioning of commissioned solar projects. Our existing OMS set-up is already handling 15 GW of wind projects globally; the diversified capacity is ready to offer OMS to solar projects which will include:-

Proactive maintenance

• Stocking of spares
• Trained engineers for everyday operations
• Periodic maintenance schedule including cleaning of PV modules, visual inspection of major components and replenishing consumables at set intervals

S97 Wind Turbine Generator is a part of our latest 2.1 MW range of products, the S97 Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) has been designed to make low wind sites viable. This WTG is available in two variants:-

1. S97 90m :

• All steel-tubular tower that reaches a height of 90 meters

2. S97 120m:

• All steel tower which combines the lattice and tubular structure with a unique transition piece and reaches a height of 120 meters

S111 Wind Turbine Generator is the latest product from Suzlon’s 2.1 MW platform. This wind turbine generator is available in two categories:

1. S111 90m:

• All steel-tubular tower that reaches a height of 90 meters

2. S111 120m:

• All steel tower which combines the lattice and tubular structure with a unique transition piece and reaches a height of 120 meters
