A push button contact block is a component commonly used in push button switches. It contains electrical contacts that are actuated by the push button's movement. There are typically two types of contacts within a contact block:
 
1. *Normally Open (NO):* This contact is open in its normal state and closes when the push button is pressed.
 
2. *Normally Closed (NC):* This contact is closed in its normal state and opens when the push button is pressed.
 
The combination of these contacts in a push button contact block allows for versatile control applications, enabling the creation of circuits with different configurations based on whether the button is pressed or not.
