The Park

It is the heart of Mirik. There is an 80-ft (24-m) long footbridge over the lake. One can boat in (Boat Timing - 10.30 AM to 4.00 PM from Monday to Sunday).

For fabulous view of the plains as as mountains. Beautiful view of sunrise and sunset can also be seen from here.

A viewpoint near the town from where one can see the surrounding mountains and the vast plains below.

There are eight tea gardens in Mirik area. Thurbo T.E., one of the best tea-estates, is 3 kms. from the hotel. The factory may be visited with the permission of the manager.

About six kilometers from the hotel, situated on the spur, one can see beautiful orange orchards. Mirik is the largest supplier of oranges in West Bengal . One can also have glimpse of the village life of hill areas.

It is located on the way to Rameetay Dara and is famous as a Buddhist meditation center Bokar Ngedon Chockor Ling Monastery.

Mirik has one of the best climate for a typical orchid called Cymbidium orchids, which fetches one of the highest prices in the world flower markets. One such Cymbidium orchid garden is "Darjeeling Gardens Pvt. Ltd. M/S Nursery Milan, M/S R B Rai orchid nursery” .

Ecotourism is being promoted here and home-stay facilities can be arranged .

These birds visit Mirik during winter season. If you are lucky than you can see them fly high and can see them hunting for preay in the Samandu Lake .
