Time Kids

Age Group : 1.5 yrs - 2.5 yrs
Timings : 9:30 am - 12:30 noon (3 hrs per day)
Monday - Friday

Between 1yr to 6 yrs. of age, small children are curious and generally love to explore the world around them. They can assimilate information rapidly and express interest and wonder in each new discovery. A toddler is constantly learning how to do new things.

At Timekids, the play group curriculum makes the children independent through 'hands on' learning. They are encouraged to explore their immediate environment and also get to know themselves better. They have a free hand at the different learning stations in the secure class room environment. Group play provides opportunities for developing social skills and building confidence in children.

• Gross motor - walking, running, climbing
• Fine motor - feeding themselves, colouring
• Sensory - seeing, hearing, tasting, touching, and smelling
• Language readiness - saying single words, then short sentences
• Math readiness - pattern and shape recognition
• Social - playing with others, taking turns, doing pretend play
• Emotional : control over feelings, happy at school

At Timekids, Nursery curriculum sets the pace for active learning through various fun filled activities. Children are introduced to varied learning materials, a large number of shapes and colours as well as letters and numbers and are also exposed to a higher level of rhymes and rhythm and storytelling. They also enjoy a sense of independence through self-help tasks. Activity based learning ensures happy bunch of children looking forward to each new day at the school. Children learn to freely explore, discover and experience a wide range of sensory, creative and physical experiences while learning the importance of focussing on a single task.

Coming to PP1, our children expand their knowledge from the realms of school to the neighbourhood and beyond. They are inquisitive, seeking answers, interacting with other children and also adults. They are learning to read, write and converse in English, move beyond the mundane shapes and colours, are agile and sporty. They are creative in thinking, speaking and can make up stories in a jiffy. The age appropriate, progressive learning activities appeal to the children and parents alike. And the transition from a preschooler to a kindergartner is complete!!
