Introduction
The MATEST UPV tester is used for quality control and inspection of concrete. It measures the transit time of ultrasonic pulses through concrete for inspection of new and old structures, slabs, columns, walls, fire damaged areas, precast and prestressed beams, cylinders and other concrete forms.
Combined with an oscilloscope can identify honey combs, voids, cracks and other non homogeneous conditions in concrete.

Description
Hand held light instrument, battery operated, microprocessor incorporated, supplied complete with two 54 kHz transducers (transmitter and receiver), calibration rod, 250 mm of coupling agent, instruction manual and carrying case. The meter can also be used with low and high frequency transducers. See accessories.

Strength Meter NOVOTEST IPSM is an Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity (UPV) tester for finding defects in concrete products, bricks and other solid materials based on the analysis of the propagation of ultrasonic waves in the material. Two transducers are connected to the device (transmitter and receiver), during operation, the device gets the time of propogation ultrasonic waves between the transducers, having a fixed base (distance between the transducers), the device calculates the velocity of ultrasonic waves in the material, based on which it is possible to build a correlation with the testing parameter. The method allows users to evaluate such parameters as strength, density, elastic modulus, sound index and other parameters that have a correlation with the velocity of propagation of ultrasound in the material. The device meets the ASTM C597-16 (Standard Test Method for Pulse Velocity Through Concrete).

The most intuitive Ground Penetrating Radar ever - The latest in dual frequency GPR from IDS Italy for real time ONSITE detection of buried metallic and nonmetallic pipes and cables.

Designed to allow use by Operators at all levels making detection of buried utilities easier through its new software interface while needing virtually no maintenance for lifetime of equipment. The unit is based on a dual frequency antennae of 250MHz & 700MHz; the 250MHz frequency is for scanning and providing high resolution images of deep targets while the 700MHz is for scanning and providing high resolution images of shallow targets. The Opera Duo therefore provides the ability to locate the exact position of pipes and cables by a single scan (instead of changing antennae’s) - Saving time & increasing productivity.

The unit also provides simultaneous display of both deep and shallow targets with extra soil penetration depth increasing detection performance and reducing possibility of operator error. The new collapsible design with no exposed cables ensure that the operator simply has to switch on the product for use.

The new GPR design provides a Pivoting head to allow better contact on uneven terrain and reduces signal loss. Easy to use Opera Duo uses an intuitive interface.
