  • JV of T&R & ZTR, Ukraine Received orders for 33nos. of 500MVA, 765kV class Transformers from PGCIL. Out of total 33 nos., 20 nos. are being executed from T&R works.
  • Manufactured 333MVA, 1150kV class Transformer for PGCIL test station of Bina.
  • Received Order for first 500MVA, 400kV three phase Power Transformer from GETCO which is country's highest power rating transformer in 400kV voltage class.
  • Received orders for two packages of M/s. Tantransco wherein each package comprises of 2 nos. 315MVA & 1 nos. 200MVA, 400kV class of transformers from EPC contractors M/s. Shreem& M/s. L&T. 
  • Supplied 7 nos., 167MVA, 400kV class, 1ph Transformers to MSETCL through Jyoti Structures & balance 7 nos. are in execution.
  • Supplied First 63MVAr, 420kV class reactor to M/s. GETCO.
  • Manufactured & supplied Generator Transformer of 330MVA, 220kV class to TATA Projects.
  • Supplied Rectifier transformer of 74.5KA capacity to M/s. Reliance Industries Ltd., Dahej
  • Supplied Rectifier transformer of 90 KA capacity to M/s. GACL, Vadodara
  • Received the first Order from Western Railways for 05 Nos. 30/42MVA, 132/27KV Traction Power Transformers.
  • Created a Foot print in Australia – supplying 3nos of SPT to an EPC company.
  • Created a Foot print in Mozambique through supply of Distribution Transformers
  • Supplied large no. of transformers to various solar power projects across the India.

Our Promoters

Mr. Jitendra U. Mamtora, Chairman
Mr. Jitendra U. Mamtora aged 65 years, is the Chairman of our Company. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College. Mr. Mamtora started his career in 1969 with Electrical Equipment Manufacturing Company as an engineer, and thereafter he started a proprietary concern in the name and style of M/s Transformers And Rectifiers (India) in 1981. Under his leadership the firm diversified from its initial business of manufacture of distribution transformers into the production of furnace transformers. He has over 40 years of experience in the manufacturing of transformers and the transformer industry. Mr. Mamtora has been instrumental in the setting up and growth of our Company since its inception in the year 1994. He is an Executive Council member of IEEMA and has been nominated as the Chairman of IEEMA, Transformer Division since 2007. He is also a member of CII and FICCI. His leadership abilities and overall expertise in the technical and commercial aspects of the transformer business have been instrumental in the growth and success of our Company. He oversees the entire technical department of our Company and is responsible for the expansion plans and day to day functioning of our Company.

Mrs. Karuna J. Mamtora, Executive Director Mrs. Karuna J. Mamtora, aged 61 years, is an Executive Director of our Company. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arts from Gujarat University. She has been associated with our Company since career in 1997, and has been instrumental in the formulation and implementation of “Corporate Social Responsibility” related policies and activities in our Company. Mrs. Karuna Mamtora was appointed as Executive Director with effect from April 1, 2005 and is in charge of General Administrative functions and the Human Resource development in our Company.

Mr. Satyen J Mamtora, Managing Director Mr. Satyen J. Mamtora, aged 37 years, is the Managing Director of our Company. He holds a Diploma holder in Electrical Engineer, from Uxbridge College of Engineering, London-UK. He has been associated with our Company since its inception. He has over 12 years of experience in the transformer industry, in area of project, production and marketing. As Managing Director, he is responsible for overall operations of our Changodar Unit.
