• Glimp mp 2mg tablet is a combination of glimepiride, metformin and pioglitazone which belongs to the group of medicines called antidiabetic agents. It is used in adults to treat type ii diabetes mellitus when diet, exercise and treatment with single agents does not result in adequate sugar control.
• Type ii diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease characterized by abnormally high levels of glucose in the blood. It is caused due to inadequate production of a hormone called insulin (produced by pancreas to metabolize glucose) in the body or due to inadequate sensitivity of body cells to the actions of insulin.
• Before taking glimp mp 2mg tablet, inform your doctor if you have any liver, kidney or heart problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have any eye problems, hormonal imbalance, alcoholism, or if you are malnourished, starved, on an irregular diet as a precaution.
• Glimp mp 2mg tablet is strictly not recommended for use in patients with type I diabetes mellitus, bladder cancer, severe heart failure or lactic acidosis. It is also not suitable for use in pregnant or breastfeeding women.
• Along with the treatment, follow the diet and lifestyle changes advised by your doctor to achieve better results. Avoid smoking and consumption of alcohol while taking glimp mp 2mg tablet as it may aggravate your existing condition.
• The most common side effects of taking glimp mp 2mg tablet are low blood sugar levels, nausea, stomach upset, constipation, sore throat, muscle pain, headache, dizziness and weight gain. Consult your doctor if any of these side effect worsens.

• Glimp mp 2mg tablet stimulates the pancreas to secrete more insulin (a hormone involved in glucose metabolism). Additionally, it can also reduce the glucose produced by the liver and reduces its absoprtion in the body.
• Directions for use
• Take glimp mp 2mg tablet preferably after meals or as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine.
• Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy for you depending on your age, body weight and disease condition.
• Do not stop taking glimp mp 2mg tablet unless your doctor advice you to stop.

• Peptilcer dsr capsule is a combination of domperidone and pantoprazole which belongs to the group of medicines called prokinetic drugs and proton pump inhibitors respectively. It is used to treat peptic ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease (gerd) and reflux esophagitis.
• Peptic ulcers are painful sores that develop on the linings of the stomach, esophagus or intestines. It causes severe stomach pain with sensation of flatulence, indigestion, vomiting and fatigue.
• Gerd is a chronic digestive disease in which the acid from the stomach frequently flows into the esophagus leading to irritation of lining of food pipe. Symptoms include heartburn, chest pain, nausea, sensation of lump in throat and stomach discomfort.
• Reflux esophagitis can be defined as the inflammation of the food pipe accompanied with acid reflex.
• Peptilcer dsr capsule acts by reducing the production of gastric acid. It also speeds up the movement of food from the stomach to the intestines, thereby reducing the signs of nausea, vomiting and acid reflux. Due to these actions, it can also reduce the unpleasant signs of gi tract such as nausea, vomiting, indigestion, burping, bloating, acidity or heartburn.
• It should be taken at least 15-30 minutes before meals. During treatment with peptilcer dsr capsule your doctor will closely monitor your kidney functions, liver functions and blood magnesium levels to avoid the risk of unwanted side effects.
• Before taking peptilcer dsr capsule inform your doctor if you have any liver, kidney or heart problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have any blockage or tears in the gut or have weak bones.
• Peptilcer dsr capsule is not recommended for use in patients having bleeding from the gut. Consult your doctor before taking peptilcer dsr capsule if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. The most common side effects of taking peptilcer dsr capsule are dryness of mouth, constipation and flatulence. Consult your doctor if any of these side effect bothers you.
• You must also inform your doctor immediately if you experience any signs of low magnesium levels in blood (such as tiredness, abnormal muscle movements, dizziness, confusion, disorientation, irregular heartbeat).
