United Engineers, Inc. civil engineering staff has extensive experience in public infrastructure design. UEI has been selected by the City of Houston numerous times as a prime consultant to work on Capital Improvement Projects. Registered professional engineers and engineering technicians provide Civil Engineering services related to design of sanitary sewers, water lines, roadway and drainage systems, traffic control, storm water pollution control and other underground utilities. UEI also has the experience to acquire all governmental agency permits including TxDOT, County, City, Flood Control, Corps of Engineers, and railroad crossing permits.

SUE is an engineering process that has been used primarily by State and Local transportation departments, design consultants, and utility companies to locate existing subsurface utilities with a high degree of accuracy and comprehensiveness. UEI can attribute its success to its ability to forecast potential conflicts that might occur and troubleshooting them effectively.  We provide additional SUE services including utility mapping at appropriate SUE Quality Levels (A-D), utility design and relocation, communication of utility data, and utility agreement preparation.
